Procedure to setup color coded perc test results – 11/29/05

 

  1. Enter soiltest data and locate the points into the AutoCAD drawing as per the “Lanc & Tully Soiltest Data Entry Procedure”.
  2. Define the point groups for both passed and failed.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Set current label style for points to either:
    1. SOIL TEST-PERC-FAILED
    2. SOIL TEST-PERC-PASSED
  2. Insert points into drawing using the appropriate point group.
  3. If the drawing layers do not exist in the drawing, the label style will create them. All you have to do is assign the appropriate color.
    1. Color 90 – SOIL TEST-PERC-PASSED
    2. Color 10 – SOIL TEST-PERC-FAILED

 

Note - Remember to update the point groups and reinsert the points into your AutoCAD drawing if more test points are added to be sure you maintain synchronicity between the drawing and the Soiltest database.
